Five Jars is open to welcoming an experienced, self-motivated Lead Drupal Developer into our growing team of professionals. We are looking for an engineer with solid professional background in Drupal 8+ development within a software delivery environment. A person who will lead software developments in the team and help build sustainable architecture.

Professional skills

  • 5+ years in Drupal 8, 9 development
  • Developing Drupal 8+ modules, themes, and distributions on Drupal - Open Source CMS
  • Knowledge of Drupal best practices
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients
  • Writing JavaScript/jQuery plugins or applications.
  • Familiar with JavaScript concepts like closures, prototyping
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
  • Working with Git, Jira, UNIX systems
  • Strong OOP knowledge, design patterns, and principles
  • Intermediate+ English level
  • A good understanding of Symfony3.2+
  • Experience with Docker would be a plus
  • Experience with WordPress would be a plus

Day-to-day Responsibilities

Responsibilities that candidates will have on a daily basis.

  • Building Projects architecture
  • Participating in developing Drupal Distribution (Open Y)
  • Participating in meetings with clients 
  • Developing Drupal integrations with 3rd party systems
  • Developing Drupal modules
  • Helping Project Managers with technical questions 
  • Helping other team members deliver projects in time with the best quality 
  • Providing technical details in Jira tasks
  • Participating in company initiatives along with other team leads 
  • Working in a friendly and ambitious environment
  • Helping other team members deliver projects in time with the best quality 
  • Helping with review of work made by other team members 
  • Writing important technical documentation for projects
  • Being responsible for the code you write
  • Being proactive
