Five Jars is looking for an experienced (senior+) self-motivated Drupal Technical Lead to join our growing team of professionals. 


This role requires a solid professional background in Drupal 8 development within a software delivery environment. It presupposes the performance of highly diverse tasks and involves aspects of planning, estimating, and delivering quality solutions from the beginning up to the project completion.

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

  • Perform code reviews
  • Participate in clients calls along with Project Managers
  • Interaction with Project Managers, Account Manager, QAs, DevOps, and others as needed to resolve blockers and move a project towards a successful finish

Professional skills

  • Experience in Drupal development 6+ years (Drupal 7 and Drupal 8)
  • Experience in developing Drupal 8 modules, themes, distributions on drupal.org.
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients.
  • Experienced in writing Javascript/jQuery plugins or applications.
  • Familiar with Javascript concepts like closures, prototyping
  • Experience in working with Docker
  • Experience in working with WordPress would be a plus
  • Has a good understanding of Symfony3.2+
  • Strong OOP knowledge, design patterns, and principles
  • English is intermediate+
  • Experience with GIT, JIRA
  • Experience in UNIX systems
  • Knowledge of Drupal best practices.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Work in a friendly and ambitious environment

  • Help Project Managers with technical questions

  • Help with review work made by other team members 
  • Provide technical details in Jira tasks
  • Participate in company initiatives along with other team leads 
  • Be responsible for the code you and your team write
  • Writing important technical documentation for projects
